Women, Business, and Tech

We are proud, once again, to be working with Kite Packaging to recruit for their Graduate Development Program, for a third year running.

Kite’s Graduate Development Programme started in Summer 2015 and on the back of its overwhelming success, applications are now open for 2017.

We are looking for candidates who have their sights set on a management career in a progressive, dynamic and entrepreneurial, employee-owned company. For the third year intake, we’re specifically looking for University Graduates who want to ‘Aim High’ and progress in a business that has gone from zero when it was founded in 2001, to one of the biggest, leading businesses, in the UK packaging industry.

Want to know what it’s like to join Kite as a Graduate? You can read our Graduate Scheme Interviews on Facebook

Outline of Programmer

Unlike many graduate job programmes, Kite’s programme is the personal passion of the company’s Chairman.

This Graduate Programme gives you a unique opportunity to interface at a senior level within the company, and be provided with valuable experience and support. You will also report to, or be mentored by, a Kite Managing Partner, who will provide insight in to the operational side of Kite Packaging, and support you through the whole process.

Commencing August 2017, the programme runs over a two year period, in that time you will participate in a modular programme. Unlike most other graduate jobs, this programme is designed to give you ‘hands on’ exposure to a wide range of business functions and activities.

For each module you will work at a different branch and/or department every four months, receiving individual assessments at the end of each rotation. This will give you a feel for all aspects of the business, and help you to decide where your skills lie.

A permanent position is not guaranteed at the end of the Programme, however if you are successful you could be fast-tracked to a permanent Senior Management position.

Areas of Discipline

You will have an Induction Day in August with your Graduate Programmer colleagues, to learn about the company and the way it operates. On this day you will be provided with details of your first module, and your key project for the first four month period.
